Struggling To Find Hope

I lost my job, schooling and eventually became homeless due to alcoholism. My first day of being homeless, I didn’t know what to do or who to call. I thought the hospital would be the place to go, so I went there and slept on three different bathroom floors that night. Sleeping in a hospital bathroom floor was not something I had ever considered a possibility in my life, but all these things can happen when you’re homeless. I wish my family doesn’t struggle with any addictions while they are out there. I wish nobody struggles with addictions and homelessness. — Erin
